| Comprehensive Dental Care |
| |
Most of our patients
come to us with a specific dental need. They may have
crooked, crowded or missing teeth, yellow stained teeth
or they maybe suffering pain from teeth or gums. We
allow an hour for an unhurried, in depth discussion
of all your dental needs.
Often a cosmetic problem has a functional basis and
we are dedicated not only providing you with a beautiful
smile but at the same time healthy and pain free gums
and teeth and freedom from painful jaw joints and chronic
headaches. There is a small charge for this first consultation
and we usually are able to give the patient a broad
picture of what is necessary to restore the mouth to
maximum health, function and beauty.
We must emphasis that our first priority will be to
address your main problem, but sometimes there maybe
underlying causes and associated problems which will
need to be briefly discussed. Sometimes at this first
visit it is necessary to take one or two small X-rays
for which there would be a minimal charge in order to
gain some insight into the nature of a specific problem.
A full X-ray examination is usually only done at the
second visit when the patient feels ready to commit
themselves to a course of treatment which has been mutually
agreed after a full discussion.
If the first problem is pain we would of course deal
with this immediately.
During the initial consultation the latest Intra-Oral
Camera is used to detect problems of the teeth and gums
which are shown instantly and with great clarity on
the computer screen. This enables the dentist to make
and early diagnosis of any problem and for the patient
to understand his own personal dental needs as never
before. |

| Smile Design |
Cosmetic dentistry is all about achieving a smile that
you are happy to show. A beautiful smile is the key
to an attractive face. Cosmetic dentistry has advanced
so much that in as little as two visits, you can have
a near perfect smile. Dentists can correct pre-existing
conditions, or if it’s just the shape, size or
position of your teeth that bothers you, today’s
cosmetic dentistry can address the problem. This also
includes gum-line contouring and other procedures to
enhance your smile.

Tooth Whitening |
There are several procedures that can help you improve
the quality and look of your smile.
Teeth whitening or Teeth Bleaching can be done at home
or in a dentists office. When done well, teeth whitening
can last for 2-5 years if the patient avoids things
that overly stain teeth such as coffee and smoking.
Touch-ups to teeth whitening are recommended.
NEW!!! A single use, simple, in-office system is now
used to achieve whiter teeth in just 20 minutes. Minimal
chair time required- No adverse side effects.

Orthodontics: |
Braces can improve the appearance of teeth in children
and adults who have crooked teeth or teeth with wide
gaps. Orthodontics is often a part of the treatment
plan for children—as well as adults—and
for this reason, it is included in our team as an in-house
specialty.
Long gone are the days of walking with metal clasps
visible in the mouth. Ceramic brackets are tooth-colored;
hence, almost invisible in the mouth.

Pit and Fissure Sealants |
The uneven surfaces of teeth are most difficult to clean
and, thus, the most prone to cavities. Sealant protects
these areas with tough coating that prevents plaque
and food from setting in them.

RCT (Root Canal Therapy): |
Root canal treatment is performed when the pulp in the
center of the tooth becomes infected or inflamed. During
RCT, the infected pulp is removed and the root canals
are cleaned and filled. Having a root canal can save
an infected tooth. In most cases, root canals in our
office are completed in our visit.

| Prosthodontics: |
Many options exist for missing teeth, including bridges,
implants or even natural-looking partial and full dentures.
There is no reason to live with missing teeth. Not only
does a full set of teeth improve self esteem but it
makes all of the other teeth last longer by reducing
the stress placed on the remaining natural teeth.
Crowns (or ‘caps’) slip over teeth with
large fillings to recreated their natural shape and
size. They are also placed on teeth after RCT to offer
additional support.
|
Bridges are an effective way to replace a missing tooth.
A bridge consists of a replacement crown attached to
two other crowns that can slip over the teeth adjacent
to the gap.
We have a tie-up with #1 Dental Laboratory in India
thus guaranteeing our finished work to be as close a
possible to natural teeth!

Dental Implants-The Logical Answer To Tooth Replacement |
If you are missing one or more teeth and would like
to speak, smile and eat again with confidence and comfort,
there is great news! Teeth supported by dental implants
can look and feel just like your own. This cosmetic
tooth replacement may include single, multiple or mini
implants. Today, advances in the areas of bone regrowth
technology and cosmetic and implant science allow smiles
to be restored to a level once never thought possible.

| Periodontics (Gum Treatment) |
Gum disease, often a silent destroyer of healthy teeth,
can be treated by scaling and root planning. The importance
of routine dental checkup accompanied with periodic
tooth cleaning, every six months, cannot be over looked
in this age of diabetes and cardiac disease.
Cosmetic Gum-lifts (gingivectomy) involve the removal
of gum to make the teeth appear longer, and the gum-line
even. The periodontist can diagnose and suggest the
best treatment, which includes advanced techniques to
enhance the smile.
